I guess it depends on how big of a rip u got, 1″-3″ probably not. 4″ and up it may decrease the value.

It only takes two people to set a value – a seller & a buyer! It really depends on how rare your item is. If it’s a sought after item, potential buyers probably won’t care.
Personally, I collect dolls, not the boxes – but there are lots of collectors who actually keep the dolls in the boxes and never remove them.
