selling collectible items…?

Recently I had a tenant move out of a house I was renting to her. When I went to check on and clean up the property I found that she’d left a few boxes with a variety of old collectible toys and stamps.

I’ve never been one to collect and sale items but I’m sure some of these things may be worth money, but I don’t know the first thing about finding out what there worth or how to go about selling them.

Also a few of the old barbie are in mangled boxes but the dolls themselves are untouched, are they still worth anything?

You might want to check with the Tenant/Landlord rules to see how long you must store the belongings before you decide to sell them. In most states it is like 30/60/or 90 days, before you can do anything with the previous tenants belongings. Once you have done this you can try ebay or goggle the types of stamps to the values. But keep in the back of your mind that no matter what the worth is, is getting someone to pay your asking price.
