How do you remove cigarette odors from collectible porcelain dolls and boxes that you acquired for resale?

I was asked by an elderly lady in need of extra money, to sell her collection of porcelain dolls that she has acquired over many years. Some were discovered stolen, and sadly many of the dolls, though new in the box with tags (franklin mint, bradbury, etc…)reek of cigarette smoke. The boxes are also somewhat dusty and smell. I would like to clean them up so as to get as much money for them as possible, but I don’t want to damage them as some are older and some such as the Jacqueline and John F. Kennedy dolls may be quite valueable. I would appreciate any advice on my mission! Thanks

She was born on March 9, 1959 to George and Margaret Roberts. They all live in a fictional town known as Willows. The biography continues on to include Barbie’s boyfriend, high school, etc. By the way, her boyfriend is Ken Carson. Over the years, there has been many companions produced for Barbie and they include: friends, family, siblings, etc.

Barbie has experienced many careers over the decades. The careers that she participates in usually reflect current times. For example, in 2010 expect to see an Astronaut Barbie and a Registered Nurse Barbie.

Barbie dolls have caused many controversies over the decades. It has been criticized many times. It has been said that the Barbie doll represents unrealistic ideas for a woman’s body.

Many little girls have idled Barbie; however, it is said that she causes poor self image because the girls cannot live up to the perfection that Barbie portrays. Mattel answered back by increasing the waist size of Barbie. More recently, the release of the “Totally Tattoos” Barbie caused controversy because of the “tramp stamp” tattoo.

Barbie dolls have been in production for decades, and they will continue to be produced. They range in size from about 6 inches to 2 feet… i have been collecting them FOREVER and now i want 2 sall them, but i want 2 b sure that i am getting a good price.
i dont have the time to get them appraised because i am currently moving. can anyone please just give a flat estimated cost? i need to get them off my hands! and at a good price!

Goo Goo Dolls Gutterflower Rock Music CD Review

Goo Goo Dolls, very talented Rock group have released their latest CD titled Gutterflower and Wow! It’s really a good one.

I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Gutterflower. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

Gutterflower has a nicely varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly superb musicians. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.

If you’re a Goo Goo Dolls fan, or just a fan of Rock music this is a CD your collection simply should not be without.

While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 – Think About Me, track 9 – What Do You Need?, and track 12 – Truth Is A Whisper

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 – Big Machine. Outstanding!
