The Top 20 Searches for Antiques and Collectibles at Kovels.com for October 2007

Cleveland, Ohio – November 13, 2007 – Kovels.com

(http://www.kovels.com), the Web’s largest free price guide for

antiques and collectibles, today released its list of the top 20

searches for October. The Kovels’ top 20 list is based on the results

of hundreds of thousands of searches that took place on its website

during the month of October 2007.

People use price guides for a number of reasons, usually to determine

the value of an item that they own. If an item isn’t listed on the top

20 list, it doesn’t mean it is unpopular or that there isn’t a demand

for it. It only means that in October there was less interest in

finding prices for that item.

1. Stoves (Up from #2) 2. Jewelry (Down from #1) 3. Furniture (Up from

#4) 4. World War II (Down from #3) 5. Silverplate (Up from #7) 6.

Occupied Japan (No movement) 7. Lighters (Up from #8) 8. Knife (Up from

#14) 9. Capo-Di-Monte (Up from #10) 10. Lladro (Up from #12) 11. Coca

There are six new categories on the October list that were not included

in the September list. Also note the surge in stoves over the past few

months, as the weather has become colder.

The Kovels’ “Top 20″ list of antiques and collectibles has been
