   Zoe is absolutely stunning and the detail blew me away. Her fingers are wonderfully articulated and she has exactly the right hint of a sweet smile on her face. The eyes have flecks of blue and green in them and the lashes are astonishingly real. Her hair is thick and lush and I am surprised at her range of motion, making her super easy for my 4 year old to dress.

   My daughter wanted a big girl doll like Our Generation or American Girl for her 4th birthday. I was afraid that she wouldn’t play with it, but she does play with her every day.

   It was a pleasant discovery to find out that Our Generation clothes and shoes from Target fit beautifully. We bought the 9 pack of shoes and they look great on her. Carpatina doll clothes fit well, but the shoes are slightly too small (they will fit but require a lot of work). Springfield doll clothes from Michaels craft stores also fit well. I fully expect that American Girl and Madame Alexander 18″ from Walmart clothes and accessories will also fit her.

   Be aware that pants from any of the 18″ doll lines will be short because Zoe is 21″ tall.

   My only gripe about this doll is her ugly, hideous clothes. Seriously, what girl wants a doll with fingerless hobo gloves? The clothes are very high quality and superbly made but are not cute at all. We bought the party dress pack and redressed the doll, replacing it in the box, before giving it to my daughter. It made a HUGE difference.

   The breastplate makes this doll better than American Girl, in my opinion, because she can wear halter styles and low necklines without looking ridiculous.

   It also helps me to think my daughter is sleeping with a doll that is emitting fewer chemicals than most. I haven’t looked at the book she came with.

   I would buy this doll again, but please change the clothes. Gia and Ling have very cute outfits.

   My daughter wanted a karito kids doll for her birthday. There was a sale at Tuesday morning near us, and she got lucky and received two of them for her 8th birthday, Zoe and Ling. Zoe is so beautiful! Her pictures online don’t do her justice. Both dolls are high quality, and the hair is nice and silky. The book is high quality, hardcover, with nice thick pages, and some drawings inside. Weve only read a few chapters, but its been interesting so far. All of her friends at the birthday were really excited to see her new dolls, and they had a great time playing with them. We have had cheaper quality dolls before, and after a few years the hair gets really ratty, and theres not much you can do with it after that. I don’t think this will be a problem with these dolls. Great purchase!

   My Daughter wanted an American Girl or a My twinn for Christmas – she is almost 5, and well, I think those are not the prettiest dolls, regardless, the Karito Kids dolls are Beautiful! They are superbly made, and has well surpassed our expectations! My daughter LOVES Gia, and ahs already begun saving for the other ones as well. You can not go wrong with this doll!!!!!

   I bought Gia. The half soft, half shoulder plate body is done very well. Your child (or your inner child) will like being able to dress these dolls in sleeveless dresses and still give them a good hug. Nice to see the hair is not overdone but believable.

   Was very surprised at the detail given to her clothing. The little jacket resembles boiled wool, being made of a kind of jersey, just as real boiled wool is. No mismatched seams or strings hanging either. Since I sew, I noticed the way the collar was lined on the underside and stitched to make it lie flat and has real covered buttons.

   If anyone out there plans to make their doll’s clothes, the dolls can wear the patterns Vogue and others designed for 18″ dolls. Of course, you may have a add an inch or so to the sleeves and hem but the fit is good. I had stumbled across a blog showing the doll and an American girl side by side for comparisons. Well worth the money, excellent quality throughout.

   This is one of the most beautiful dolls I have ever seen. She is so lifelike, truly beautiful. It’s like having a short person to befriend. Plus, it is interactive on the computer. I have Gia, Zoe and Piper. Also, you can give to the children’s charity of your choice when you receive the new doll. I highly recommend this doll for any child over 5.
